Library Services

The mission of the library is to offer materials, programs, and services that provide opportunities for personal growth and development as well as enrichment and enjoyment for all ages. Each year the library sets services goals and objectives in the context of a Five Year Plan of Service.

Art Exhibits

The library welcomes the opportunity to allow groups, organizations or individuals use of the library for art exhibits. Those interested in displaying their work should contact the Library Director. Guidelines for displaying artwork are set by the Library Trustees.

Community Notice Board

The library encourages the display of bulletins, brochures and posters by non-profit civic, educational and community groups regarding activities of interest to the local community. Excluded from display are personal ads and notices, notices of items for sale or rent and political advertising. Please check with the staff before posting a notice.

Computers, Internet & Wifi

The library offers computer workstations on a first-come, first-served basis for 45 minute blocks. You will need a Raynham library card to use the computer workstations. Policies for use of the workstations, the Internet and Wifi are set by the Library Trustees.

Discussion Groups

The library sponsors two book clubs and a film club. Book Clubs meet on the 1st and 2nd Wednesdays of each month at 1:00 PM. The Film Club meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM. Ask at the Circulation Desk about joining one of the discussion groups. Consult Readers' Corner for information on book club reading selections.

FAX & Photocopier

You may send or receive a FAX at the library. The library’s FAX number is 508.824.0494. There is a charge of $1.00 per page. A photocopy machine is available for public use at a minimum charge.

Library Newsletter

As a registered library user, you receive a monthly e-newsletter of library news and coming events. Read the latest library newsletter.

Meeting Room

The Raynham community is welcome to use the library’s meeting room when not being used by the library. Application and the rules and procedures for use of the room are established by the Library Trustees and are reviewed annually.

Museum and Zoo Passes

The library offers passes for FREE or REDUCED admission to many area museums and zoos. Reservations are made online. Museum passes are funded by the Friends of the Library. To see all SAILS Library Network passes, click here.

Programs

The library offers programs of interest to adults, young adults and children year round. Consult Coming Events for a schedule of programs.

Tax Forms

The library makes available tax forms and instructions for federal and state income tax. Forms are usually available beginning in January. Both federal and state income tax forms and information can be found online. Click here to download federal forms. State tax forms can be found here.
